The MAC is back and working to build a strong community of artists through dynamic partnerships, engaging programming and memorable events!
Artists, makers, designers, and craftspeople – are you interested in honing your entrepreneurship skills and growing your business? Become a confident business owner through the Artisan Entrepreneurship Program.
This year-long program will help you develop a business plan, set financial goals, meet one-on-one with business coaches, and have access to resources and support to help you achieve business success.
The MAC and Main Street Morgantown are teaming up with Bridgeway Capital to launch the first Artisan Entrepreneurship Program in Morgantown.
Bridgeway Capital's Alliance for Creative Rural Economies (ACRE) program coupled with the MAC's and Main Street Morgantown's local connections make this an irresistible opportunity.
Bridgeway Capital offers an intensive, supportive business curriculum through its ACRE program, designed specifically for creative entrepreneurs.
You can sell and receive specific feedback on your work from the Retail Lab, a retail accelerator that's located in a highly visible storefront just a few doors down from the MAC.
Run by students in WVU’s Fashion, Dress & Merchandising program, the Retail Lab will accept applications on a rolling basis to possibly sell your work on consignment.
The MAC offers a connection to the local community, low-cost studio space and the opportunity to teach your craft.
Main Street Morgantown helps connect you to the local community and facilitates opportunities to display and sell your work in the heart of Morgantown.
Venues may include downtown arts markets, pop-up shops, empty storefronts, or other collaborative spaces. These various retail opportunities provide direct sales channels and increased visibility, as well as the opportunity to test a concept in a brick-and-mortar space for a limited time and connect with prospective landlords, all while being supported and promoted by Main Street Morgantown.
