The MAC Maker Space is a place for our community to come and embrace creativity. A membership gives access to shared tools and supplies.
Membership Options:
$10 daily membership
$60 monthly membership
Scholarships are available, if cost is a barrier to you creating art, please reach out.
Membership fee includes: use of most supplies like paints, brushes, inks, drawing tools, the collage library, and the darkroom. Papers, canvases, linoleum, and other supplies are available for a small fee (basic papers start at $1/10 sheets, fine art paper is $3/sheet, canvas ranges from $2-$5 dollars). Members are also welcome to bring their own supplies! A $0.30 charge is added for supply purchases with credit cards.
Some papers and other materials are complimentary.
Guest passes: bring friends! Daily members may bring guests for a reduced rate of $5/day. Monthly members may bring a free guest 2x/month, and additional times for $5/day.
The Maker Space is currently in a beta phase. Policies and prices are subject to adjustment.

-linoleum relief printing
-black and white photography darkroom
-painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor)
-drawing (pencil, charcoal, pastel)
-collage

Currently the Maker Space will be open during MAC regular open hours - we hope to extend these soon.
Tuesdays: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Wednesday - Friday: 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Exceptions may be made for classes and events in the space.
UPCOMING EXCEPTION: During our summer camps (weeks of June 16 and 23), access to the maker space may be limited until 4 p.m. each day. Some supplies (painting and drawing) can be moved for use in other rooms while camps are in session.
