MAC a-Go-Go

A '60s Soiree

Sat, August 29, 2026 at 7:00 PM

Dress in your '60s best, and go-go meet us at the MAC!

This  year, our fourth annual fundraiser will be a far out evening in our  historic building featuring live music, live silk-screen printing art  demo, beer and wine bars along with a cocktail bar serving drinks  popular in the 1960s, bites, outdoor garden party (weather permitting), raffle, catering, and a selfie ops.

If you or your business can sponsor our event, we have some special perks! Check out the levels, and pick one that is groovy for you.

Proceeds from this, our major  fundraising event of the year, will allow us to continue our mission of  inspiring local creativity through art classes, exhibits, and live  shows in the heart of Morgantown. For the past three years, we’ve  expanded our arts programming to include classes such as black and white  film and print development in our darkroom, free bi-monthly concerts,  free classes for youth, summer camps, and much more. We are currently  gearing up to open a community pottery studio. We plan to continue  sharing art with our community in the year ahead by offering free and  affordable arts outreach

Brown Bag Concert Series

Afternoon concerts

The Brown Bag Concert Series is a new program at the MAC, filling a gap in local arts programming by providing accessible, high-quality live performances during daytime hours in a welcoming space, encouraging a broad audience—including students, professionals, retirees, and families—to experience live music. The concerts are on the first and third Wednesdays.

To sustain this program we need to pay musicians competitive wages.

Your support will help sustain this program and will directly support local artists.

Community Maker Space

We are opening a pottery studio as part of our maker space!

We have a vision of providing a hub for creatives - for those who dabble in all types of mediums to artists needing a space to spread out and work.

We started with some basics, and are now seeking funding to open a pottery studio! We received state and local grants, but still need a little extra to get all the supplies and equipment we need to make this an amazing space for our community.

We need your help to make this happen!

Morgantown Crankie Festival Support

Your donation will help sustain and grow this festival for years to come.

The  Morgantown Crankie Festival brings together artists, musicians,  storytellers, puppeteers, and audiences for a weekend of creative  performances centered around the art of crankies—hand-cranked moving  panoramas that combine visual art, music, storytelling, and theater.
The  festival features local, regional, and nationally recognized artists,  many of whom travel to Morgantown to share their work, teach workshops,  and build connections within our community. In addition to performances,  the festival includes exhibitions, artist talks, community gatherings,  and opportunities for audiences of all ages to experience this unique  art form.
While  ticket donations help offset costs, they do not fully cover artist  travel, lodging, materials, venue expenses, accessibility services, and  performer compensation. We are committed to keeping the festival  affordable and accessible while ensuring that artists are paid for their  work.

General Donations

Every donation makes a difference!

Hey there! The MAC has been through a bit of a  rough patch lately with all the necessary repair work on our gorgeous  historic building. But fear not! Your generosity can make all the  difference. Every little bit counts toward keeping our programming going  strong and getting us closer to our dream of fully reopening! So, let's  spread some sunshine and make magic happen together! Your support means  the world to us!
