Brown Bag Concert Series

Afternoon concerts

The Brown Bag Concert Series is a new program at the MAC, filling a gap in local arts programming by providing accessible, high-quality live performances during daytime hours in a welcoming space, encouraging a broad audience—including students, professionals, retirees, and families—to experience live music. The concerts are on the first and third Wednesdays.

To sustain this program we need to pay musicians competitive wages.

Your support will help sustain this program and will directly support local artists.

Community Maker Space

We are opening a pottery studio as part of our maker space!

We have a vision of providing a hub for creatives - for those who dabble in all types of mediums to artists needing a space to spread out and work.

We started with some basics, and are now seeking funding to open a pottery studio! We received state and local grants, but still need a little extra to get all the supplies and equipment we need to make this an amazing space for our community.

We need your help to make this happen!

Morgantown Crankie Festival Support

Your donation will help sustain and grow this festival for years to come.

The  Morgantown Crankie Festival brings together artists, musicians,  storytellers, puppeteers, and audiences for a weekend of creative  performances centered around the art of crankies—hand-cranked moving  panoramas that combine visual art, music, storytelling, and theater.
The  festival features local, regional, and nationally recognized artists,  many of whom travel to Morgantown to share their work, teach workshops,  and build connections within our community. In addition to performances,  the festival includes exhibitions, artist talks, community gatherings,  and opportunities for audiences of all ages to experience this unique  art form.
While  ticket donations help offset costs, they do not fully cover artist  travel, lodging, materials, venue expenses, accessibility services, and  performer compensation. We are committed to keeping the festival  affordable and accessible while ensuring that artists are paid for their  work.

Your support means  the world to us!

We also accept donations of art supplies! Email info@monartscenter.com to arrange for drop-off!
