Junior Appalachian Musicians

About JAM

Junior Appalachian Musicians is a non-profit based in NC and the parent organization  for 50+ after school programs for children in grades 4 – 8. Last year they expanded support into WV for organizations that want to open their own JAM programs.

JAM at the MAC

This year we are launching a Junior Appalachian Musicians program, in partnership with Arthurdale Heritage Inc and with support from JAM Inc.

JAM at the MAC is a new after-school program, with group lessons for youth on banjo, fiddle, and guitar, in addition to an enrichment portion of the lesson with guest artists.

Instruction at the MAC is on Wednesdays, 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

Full tuition is $210/semester ($15/week) from February 26 through May 30. We also have a limited number of partial and full JAM scholarships.

To register

To ensure quality classroom dynamics, we are limiting class sizes to a maximum of 8 students per class. If classes are full, your student will be added to a wait-list.

To register, please fill out this form. We will then contact you regarding payment/scholarship!
